Random Pics Traveling to RightsCon

Delta CHANGED My E-Ticket Link w/o Telling Me While iWas "In-transit" to RightsCon

 Delta Has NO Class

Upon buying my ticket the bulkhead isle was available in Economy Comfort. I opted to pay the $99 fee to get that seat.  I then checked the day before my flight 13F was my seat  …i flew from DCA to JFK and the link on my iPhone showed I had seat 13F  then something mysterious happened I went to board my plane and the link showed 14F... the link on my iPhone had changed

When selecting seats for 3 day cross country trip to attend RightsCon I opted to splurge and upgrade to Economy Comfort.  I did this because a 5 hour & 36 minute flight seated in a cramped economy seat with the fear of a person (intrenching) into my space, in the mind of this 50 year old ex Northwest Airlines platinum frequent flier who vowed in 1998 to NEVER travel over an ocean in economy, except for 1 time that i was forced in the small seats cause corporate travel once dictated it (making a LONG story short the companies exec that made the rule forcing ppl into economy was at the time the man i was married to. I was able to convince him it was an inhuman rule....  anyway & upon proving to him that flying economy for 13 hours Ied to crankiness & nonfunctioning I did get to fly business on the return & the within weeks the large multi-national corporation negotiated a better transatlantic rate & my protest helped a LOT of air-road warriors:):)

OK i'm rambling & off topic....

Upon buying my ticket the bulkhead isle was available in Economy Comfort. I opted to pay the $99 fee to get that seat.  I then checked the day before my flight 13F was my seat  …i flew from DCA to JFK and the link on my iPhone showed I had seat 13F  then something mysterious happened I went to board my plane and the link showed 14F... the link on my iPhone had changed... I then sent a direct message to Delta (they followed me after I had a PTSD panic attack on a previous flight... long story but I'll add it later) & via Twitter Delta admitted they changed my seat & the link they sent me an apology & offered a $50 voucher. I denied that offer & countered with NO voucher but an upgrade on my return Thursday night & a promise that they won't change digital confirmation links with out informing the passenger. Also that they won't downgrade a paying customer with a confirmed seat just to accommodate a Diamond elite member (I've been told that I'll have to travel a lot to speak about issues being declassified sharynbovat.com & don't want this to happen again).

Lastly my flight sans the "lack of respect by Delta" was nice I watch the movie about Steve Jobs and had a lovely frozen yogurt bar.

It's very important that when life throws you lemons you make lemon-aid ... that means holding Delta accountable for their actions BUT not letting it ruin my 2 day visit to RightsCon the fact the airline tampered with my "flight confirmation link" just to benefit an elite makes my issue a human rights one.....albeit not one that needs to be dwelled on:):)

So many issues I've already learned my first hour at RightsCon & I've met an Iranian whose helping teach ppl in his nation about the need to recycle, how cool is that?

the man that got my seat was NOT disabled... Delta tampered with my e-ticket because the man was traveling with "Elite" status......
